The midwest pop rock band The Shabelles emerged onto the local Madison music scene in January of 2006. While members of the band were already established musicians within the local music scene, the mixture of the different personalities and flavors proved to be one of pure unadulterated fun.
The Shabelles have been (usually incorrectly) compared to Wilco, The Violent Femmes, The Dead Milkmen, Apples in Stereo, Buddy Holly, The Ramones and for some reason, The Smiths. But don’t take those crazy people’s word for it, check out the videos and music within the website. Please, come in and enjoy the world of The Shabelles.
